Sisters of A.C.T.S. – based on the community described in Acts 2:40-45, Sisters of A.C.T.S. is a small-group for young adult women looking to discover and/or grow in relationship with Christ. We will meet, as sisters, at least twice per month in order to Grow, Connect and Serve together through the following avenues:
A – Accountability: we will exhort one another, through accountability and prayer, to “be saved from this perverse generation,” by seeking God and walking in His will for our lives (small-group prayer and sharing…)
C – Connection: we will live life together, endeavoring to develop intimate, real relationships with Christ and one another (fun activities, group outings, meal times…)
T – Teaching/Testimony: we will learn from God’s Word and from one another’s experiences how best to “walk the walk” of our faith in Christ (Bible study, book club, video teaching series…)
S – Service: we will join together as sisters in Christ to identify and address the needs of those within and around our small-group – in our church family, in our communities and in the world at large, if God so leads (community outreach, missions trip, soup kitchen, adopt-a-grandmother…)
Acts 2:40-45 – And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation.” Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need.
